Swing-based activities provide vestibular input that strengthens balance, spatial awareness, and overall nervous system regulation.
• Reaching for targets while moving challenges visual-motor integration, timing, and coordination.
• This type of play supports motor planning as the brain learns to organize movement in a dynamic environment.
• In pediatric OT, combining movement with task-based goals enhances the brain-body connection and builds functional skills.

While it looks like just play, we are stacking challenges to help the brain level up:

Balance Cushion: Challenging core stability and vestibular processing.

Tongs & Bean Bags: Developing fine and visual motor precision while encouraging crossing the midline.

Cold Laser (LLLT): Supporting neuroplasticity, and reduce inflammation.

When we engage the body and the brain simultaneously, we’re building stronger neural pathways!

Vibration input provides powerful proprioceptive and tactile feedback that helps increase body awareness and sensory integration.
• It supports nervous system regulation by offering consistent rhythmic input that can be either calming or alerting depending on the child’s needs.
• This input enhances focus and attention by organizing sensory signals and improving readiness for learning tasks.
• In pediatric OT, vibration pads are used to support motor planning, postural stability, and overall self-regulation.

Here’s our 2025 TPT yearbook recap, and I’m not going to lie, looking back at this year gave me ALL the feels. 🥹🌱

Here’s what we accomplished together this year:

🎉 Landed in the **Top 23%** of sellers on TPT
🛒 **90 resources** added to carts
📌 **42 educators** wishlisted our resources
🌍 Reached teachers in **Cyprus, Australia, Arkansas, Connecticut, Michigan, Oklahoma, Illinois, Virginia, Wisconsin & New York**
✨ **37 educators** bought from us for the very first time
⭐ Resources spanning **Occupational Therapy, Sensory Processing, Special Education, Fine/Gross/Visual Motor Skills & Homeschool**

And one review that stopped me in my tracks:
“This has been so helpful with explaining to other teachers what Primitive Reflexes are and how to help those that seem to have them.”

That’s why we do this. Not just the numbers — but knowing that real teachers, in real classrooms, are better equipped to support the kids who need it most.

2026? We’re just warming up. 🙏

Drop a 🌱 below if you’ve used our resources this year — we’d love to know you! TPT LINK STORE IS IN OUR BIO!

Deep pressure input from weighted blankets provides proprioceptive feedback that helps regulate the nervous system and improve body awareness.
• It supports calming by activating the parasympathetic response, which can reduce anxiety, overstimulation, and behavioral dysregulation.
• This type of input improves attention and focus by organizing sensory signals and decreasing sensory-seeking or avoidance behaviors.
• In pediatric OT, deep pressure is used intentionally to support emotional regulation, sleep quality, and overall sensory integration.

*Important: Rule of thumb is do not use more then 10% of body weight with any weighted input! Make sure your child is comfortable and happy with any weighted input!
