One of the most important parts of life at Loving Hands Ministries happens in moments that may not look like much from the outside.

A conversation. A shared meal. Sitting together. Laughing about something that happened that day. Having someone there to listen.

These everyday moments are where relationships are built, and relationships are at the heart of what we do.

We believe God works through people, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside the men and women He has entrusted to us.

“Above all, love each other deeply.” 1 Peter 4:8

Last week, our residents stepped away from the everyday routine for a few days at Lake Yale Baptist Conference Center for our annual resident retreat.

“Not my will, but Yours be done.” Luke 22:42

The week was filled with worship, teaching, prayer, fellowship, recreation, and plenty of time to simply be together. But more than anything, it was a time to slow down, seek God, and focus on what it means to fully surrender our lives to Him.

We’re thankful for the growth, conversations, and memories made throughout the week and we’re praying that what God started during the retreat continues long after they returned to each campus.

All in for Christ. ❤️

A good reminder for Sunday: God is still working!

Sometimes we can get so focused on how far we still have to go that we forget to look at how far we've already come.

We hope you have a restful Sunday!

Restoration is about more than where someone has been. It's about rebuilding.

Faith.
Purpose.
Relationships.
Responsibility.
Character.
Hope.

At Loving Hands Ministries, we believe transformation takes time, and that every life has the potential for a new beginning with Christ.

Restoration looks different for everyone. If you could describe restoration in one word, what would it be? We'd love to hear from you in the comments.

What does hope look like to you?

Maybe hope looks like believing things can get better when you can’t yet see how. Maybe it looks like holding on through a difficult season. Maybe it’s finding peace in the middle of uncertainty or trusting that God is still working when life doesn’t make sense.

No matter what today looks like, we serve a God of hope.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

We’d love to hear from you: What does hope look like to you?

Some Sunday moments from the last few weeks. One thing is for certain: God is moving.

“Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for my soul.” Psalm 66:16

We’ll never get tired of hearing these stories!

Thank you to everyone who has supported our Walk-A-Thons by praying, giving, sharing, volunteering, and showing up. Every step, every dollar, and every prayer makes a difference in the lives of the young men we serve.

But we’re not done yet! 🙌 We still need your help to reach our $100,000 fundraising goal and continue the work God has called Loving Hands Ministries to do.

If you haven’t had a chance to give, there’s still time! You can help us by donating or learning more at:
