🌺 We were honored to host our 2nd Head and Neck Cancer Screening and Education booth at Mama Dee Day 2026—Anamatangi’s 2nd Annual Pacific Islander Heritage Festival!

Our team provided head and neck cancer education, merchandise, and free screening exams to approximately 60 attendees. Thank you to our incredible fellows and medical students for volunteering their time, and special kudos to Dr. Michelle Chen and Resident Monica Bodd for their leadership!

Next stop: Gilroy! We’ll be partnering with the Stanford Flu Crew and Nueva Vida Community on Sunday, October 11. Stay tuned for more details!

Thank you again to Dr. Atul Malhotra for joining us as the Keynote Speaker at the inaugural Stanford Sleep Surgery Course in May! Dr. Malhotra is a board-certified pulmonologist and intensivist at UC San Diego Health, where he leads the Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine team. With a focus on sleep-related disorders, he provides comprehensive care for conditions such as sleep apnea and insomnia and has published over 310 original manuscripts in esteemed journals. A dedicated educator and recent president of the American Thoracic Society, Dr. Malhotra is an internationally recognized expert and recipient of the 2024 Sleep and Respiratory Neurobiology Lifetime Achievement Award.
