The future of glaucoma care is looking seamless! 👁️ ✨

Our residents had a great time gaining hands-on surgical experience at Stanford's inaugural Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) simulation session.

Residents rotated through dedicated stations to master advanced device handling and procedural steps, building the perfect foundation of confidence for their upcoming PGY-4 surgeries.

This work spawns from a collaboration between the Tolias Lab at the Byers Eye Institute and the University of Göttingen, where researchers recently published a study finding that improving brain data may be more important to scaling AI in brain modeling than increasing computing power.
