🇺🇸 NEVER FORGET — 25 YEARS 🇺🇸

September 11, 2001 – September 11, 2026

Today marks 25 years since a day that forever changed our nation.

We remember all the lives lost, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders, military members, healthcare workers, and ordinary citizens who demonstrated extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We also remember September the 12th, the unity that followed—the compassion, strength, and resilience of a nation that stood together.

Twenty-five years have passed, but we continue to honor their lives, their sacrifice, and their memory.

May we teach future generations what happened that day and why we made a promise that must endure:

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

🧠 Parkinson’s Symposium & Film Screening 🧠

We were honored to be part of the recent Parkinson’s Symposium & Film Screening at FSU Panama City, an evening dedicated to education, awareness, and support for individuals and families affected by Parkinson’s disease.

Jenny Reeves, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, owner of Forget-Me-Not Dementia Clinic & Other Neurology Services, had the privilege of speaking on:

“Understanding Parkinson’s Disease: Symptoms, Progression & Modern Treatment.”

🧠 Thank you, The Landing in Panama City Beach, for hosting your First Annual Memory Health Fair! 🧠

Such a privilege to participate and speak with many community members about brain health, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and the exciting advances in neurology care!!

One of the key messages we shared is that EARLY evaluation matters. Not all memory loss is due to Dementia related to Alzheimer's disease. Getting evaluated early to diagnosed correctly matters for effective treatments.

If diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease, then earlier treatment with the new FDA-approved Alzheimer's disease medications can help slow the progression of the disease down to allow more time to be themselves.

We also discussed a topic that many caregivers struggle with, the behavior changes that occur in Dementia.

The good news is there are effective treatment options that are available and may help reduce these behaviors, improve quality of life, and lessen caregiver burden.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, asked the questions, and took home educational resources.

Community education is one of the best ways to improve brain health and ensure individuals receive the care they deserve.
