Ahead of International Overdose Awareness Day on August 31, Ascension Sacred Heart Bay is highlighting how partnerships like Project Save Lives are making a meaningful difference for individuals navigating substance use disorder.

When patients arrive at our emergency departments following an overdose, our first priority is providing lifesaving clinical care. Once stabilized, patients have the opportunity to connect directly with Peer Support Specialists—individuals with lived experience who offer empathy, encouragement and immediate access to recovery resources and treatment options. 🤝💙

Rooted in our faith-based Mission to deliver compassionate, high-quality care for all, our care teams and peer specialists work together to care for the whole person—body, mind and spirit. ❤️

Every individual deserves to feel respected, supported and empowered on their journey toward healing and recovery. ✨

Ascension Sacred Heart Bay recently completed our second full delivery to the Family Service Agency of Bay County, dropping off two more laundry bins overflowing with clothing! 🧺👚👖

When our associates learned the agency was facing a critical clothing shortage that threatened its ability to continue serving the community, they stepped up in a big way. Thanks to their incredible generosity, we've collected more than enough donations to help keep this vital resource available for local individuals and families. 🙌✨

A special thank you to RAC Disposal Services for partnering with us to support this effort. Together, we're making a meaningful difference for our neighbors in need. 🤝💙

💙 When our community is in need, our Ascension Sacred Heart Bay associates step up with open arms and caring hearts.

Earlier this month, the Family Service Agency of Bay County shared an urgent need for clothing donations to help keep its Free Clothing Room open. Our associates answered the call with incredible generosity. 👕👖

Together, we donated clothing to help ensure local individuals and families continue to have access to this important community resource. Thanks to the collective support of our associates and community partners, including RAC Disposal Services, the agency has received the donations needed to continue serving those who need it most. 🤝

We're grateful for our compassionate caregivers and associates who live our Mission every day by serving others with kindness, generosity and love. ✨
