- Bring Along Some Ear Plugs For Fireworks. Sometimes they can be louder than anticipated for tiny ears. It'll be good to be prepared.

- Make sure your children have proper identification on them. An easy trick is to write your phone number on your little's arm/hand and cover it with liquid bandaid.

- Always clean up leftover firework debris. A lot of accidents occur once the fireworks are all done. Some fireworks that don't initially go off can ignite later and some small parts pose a choking hazard for curious toddlers.

- Sparklers are an easy, fun firework for toddlers. Poke a hole in the end of a plastic cup and let them hold the sparkler from inside the cup and away from their body! This will hinder the sparks from landing on tiny hands/arms.

โ€ข Wear Coast Guard approved life jackets (not floaties)
โ€ข Secure pools with locked gates and self-latching fences
โ€ข Teach kids to always ask permission before going near water
โ€ข Learn CPR! It can save a life!!
