If your child has trouble breathing, lips/face turning blue, severe allergic reaction, a seizure, or head injury with confusion or passing out—call 911 or go to the ER.

Many childhood drownings happen in family or backyard swimming pools, often during moments when adults believe someone else is watching.

Help keep your little ones safe this summer by remembering these water safety tips:
💦 Always designate a responsible Water Watcher who is focused only on supervising children.
💦 Stay within arm's reach of young or inexperienced swimmers.
💦 Install four-sided fencing with a self-closing, self-latching gate around home pools.
💦 Keep phones and other distractions away while supervising.
💦 Learn CPR and have rescue equipment nearby.

Fever can be scary—but most of the time, it’s your child’s immune system doing its job.

A few quick reminders:
• A fever isn’t automatically dangerous.
• Teething may cause mild temperature changes—high fever usually means something else is going on.
• You don’t have to treat every fever. Focus on comfort: fluids, rest, and how your child is acting.

Call us or come in today if your child:
• Is under 3 months with a temp of 100.4°F or higher
• Has trouble breathing
• Shows signs of dehydration (very dry mouth, no tears, fewer wet diapers)
• Has a stiff neck, severe headache, or is hard to wake
• Has a seizure
• Is getting worse, or the fever lasts 3+ days
