CHRONIC SHOULDER INSTABILITY | Because of its unique ball-and-socket design, the shoulder joint can facilitate arm lifting, rotation, and overhead reaching with multidirectional flexibility. However, this extensive range of motion can also lead to instability issues.

Shoulder instability arises when the upper arm bone's head is pushed out of its socket, which can occur suddenly due to an injury, such as a fall or an accident. Unfortunately, a dislocated shoulder is prone to repeated episodes of instability, leading to a condition known as chronic shoulder instability, where the joint remains loose and prone to recurrent dislocation.

If you believe you’re suffering from a shoulder injury or condition, such as chronic shoulder instability, request an appointment with one of our shoulder experts and find out how we can help!
