It’s a day to reflect on the long journey toward freedom, celebrate Black resilience, and look ahead at the work still to be done. Hope everyone has a wonderful & meaningful Freedom Day! ✨

We are also deeply reminded of the profound honor we have every single day: the privilege of caring for and serving our country’s Veterans right here in our community. 🧠💜 The Power of Us. The Power of Now.

Lillian Reda, Genesis' National Director of Memory Support Clinical Practice and Education, recently attended the Alzheimer's Association Community Leaders Summit in Anaheim, CA.

This inspiring gathering brings together community leaders from across the country to share ideas, strengthen partnerships, and advance a collective vision of a world without Alzheimer’s and all other forms of dementia. The summit energizes participants to expand outreach, support, and impact in communities nationwide.

Reflecting on the experience, Lillian shared, “It was truly an impactful learning and networking experience. The ‘purple’ passion among attendees, the powerful personal stories shared, and the insights into the current momentum in care and treatment advancements were not only inspiring but absolutely energizing.”

Genesis is also proud to mark 17 years of participation as a National Team supporting Walk to End Alzheimer’s and Do What You Love to End ALZ, along with our continued efforts to expand access to education, support programs, advocacy, and research.
