This season was about more than snow and turns — it was about friends, shared challenges, plenty of laughs, and the pride of keeping our mountain safe together. Friends who show up for each other and make ski patrol feel like family.

Grateful for every patroller, every guest, and every moment that made this year one to remember.

If you’ve ever thought about joining ski patrol, maybe next season is your season. Come walk the hill with us — classes begin in late summer.

🔥 Red Jacket Earned at Paoli Peaks! 🔥

Big congratulations to Todd on officially earning his Red Jacket with Paoli Peaks Ski Patrol!

Around here, that jacket isn’t just part of the uniform — it represents dedication, training, teamwork, and the commitment to serve our guests when they need us most.

And in true patrol tradition, Todd completed the ceremonial rite of passage… “skiing uphill” on Graber’s — our black diamond that has humbled many. It’s not about making it look easy. It’s about earning every step.

Todd, we’re proud of the work you’ve put in and the teammate you’ve become. The mountain is better because of you.

While Southern Indiana may not have slopes this extreme, our ski patrollers are trained to the same high standards as those on the most challenging mountains. Are you a ski or snowboard enthusiast with a passion for helping others? The Paoli Peaks Ski Patrol is excited to announce the start of our Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) class! This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team committed to safety and excellence on the slopes.

What is the Outdoor Emergency Care Class that starts August 8th!

The OEC class is a comprehensive course designed by the National Ski Patrol (NSP) to train individuals in emergency medical care specific to outdoor and winter sports environments. This course covers a wide range of skills, including:

🚨 First Aid and CPR: Learn essential lifesaving techniques to respond to emergencies.
🛟 Rescue Techniques: Understand how to safely transport injured individuals off the slopes.
⛄️ Snow and Cold Weather Emergencies**: Gain knowledge about treating hypothermia, frostbite, and other cold-related conditions.
⛰️ Slope side Safety: Develop skills in risk assessment and accident prevention.

The course combines classroom instruction, hands-on practice, and real-life scenario training to ensure you're well-prepared for any situation on the mountain.
