🎉 Please join us in welcoming Jessie Behrns to the Primary Clinical Research team!

We're excited to introduce Jessie, our new Director of Strategic Operations and Expansion!

Jessie brings extensive experience in operational excellence, strategic growth, and innovation, and we're thrilled to have her expertise on board as PCR continues to grow and expand our impact in clinical research.

We asked Jessie to share a little more about herself, her background, and what she's looking forward to bringing to PCR. Here's what she had to say!

💬 A little more about Jessie, in her own words:

"I am the Director of Strategic Operations and Expansion at Primary Clinical Research. I graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha and bring more than 11 years of operational leadership experience from Accenture, where I served as an Associate Manager of Operations in Dallas, Texas. Throughout my career, I have focused on operational strategy, process optimization, and leveraging artificial intelligence to improve efficiency and drive business growth.

At Primary Clinical Research, I lead strategic initiatives focused on expanding our footprint, strengthening partnerships, and advancing operational excellence across the organization. I am passionate about building scalable solutions, improving processes, and identifying innovative ways to accelerate growth while supporting our mission of expanding access to clinical research.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my two dogs, Bear and Trooper, who keep life fun, active, and full of adventure."

We're excited to have Jessie on the team and look forward to all we'll accomplish together as we continue Moving Medicine Forward! ❤️💛💙

This weekend was all about celebrating our people. 💜

From celebrating Molly and her growing family at her baby shower 👶🍼 to showering Kennedy, our beautiful bride-to-be 💍🤍 - we had a lot of exciting life moments to celebrate!

Clinical research may be what brought our team together, but it’s the friendships, milestones, laughs, and showing up for each other outside of work that make this group so special.

We’re so excited for everything ahead for these two and grateful we got to celebrate alongside them. 🥰

Congratulations, Molly & Kennedy! 💜

What is a Clinical Trial? 🔬

The medicines, vaccines, and treatments we rely on today all have something in common: they were studied and evaluated through clinical trials.

But what exactly is a clinical trial?

A clinical trial is a research study involving volunteers that helps researchers better understand the safety and effectiveness of new medications, devices, or treatments. Clinical trials are an important step in advancing potential new healthcare options.

At Primary Clinical Research (PCR), we connect people in the Omaha metro with opportunities to participate in research happening right here in our community.

Why are clinical trials important?

↳ They help researchers explore new ways to prevent, detect, and treat health conditions.
↳ Participants play a direct role in advancing medical research.
↳ What we learn today can help shape the healthcare options of tomorrow.

Behind every medical advancement are people who chose to take part in research. Their participation makes progress possible.
