👟 The best kids’ shoes aren’t always the most expensive—they’re the ones with the right features.
When choosing summer shoes, focus less on the brand and more on how the shoe supports your child’s growing feet.
✔️ Flexible through the toes (not the middle)
✔️ Secure heel strap or closure
✔️ Wide toe box for natural toe movement
✔️ Lightweight
✔️ Good traction for running and playing
One question we get all the time: “Are Crocs okay?”
They’re great for the pool, splash pads, and quick trips—but they’re not our favorite choice for all-day wear, playgrounds, running, or summer camp. During active play, they often don’t provide the stability growing feet need.
The good news? You don’t have to spend a fortune. Many affordable shoes have the features we’re looking for.
