Fall Social Skills Groups Are Here!
We are excited to announce that our Social Success social skills groups are moving to our new location in Ramsey!

Our fall programs are open to participants Kindergarten through age 21, with an 8-week program and an optional 4-week extension for additional skill-building and connection.

Groups are facilitated by experienced school counselors, school social workers, and former teachers who understand the social and emotional needs of children, teens, and young adults.

Elementary and Middle School groups begin the week of September 14th. Please inquire for High School and ages 18–21 group schedules.

My Mother’s Day Wish,
For those of you dreaming of your baby to come, wishing the day away, I see you and I’m here for you.
For those of you rubbing your growing belly, waiting for your first official Mother’s Day, enjoy the moment.
For those of you holding your newborns wondering if this will get easier, it does.
For those of you holding your child’s hand thinking back to the teeny tiny hand, I am you right now.
For those of you waiting for your teens to need you. They still do, I promise you.
For those of you holding your adult children, watching them grow, hoping you instilled enough life lessons in them. They still need you too.
For those of you wishing your child was next to you, no matter the reason, I send my love to you.
For those of you missing your own mothers, I’m sending you a giant hug.
My wish for you this Mother’s Day is to fine balance and peace in any season of motherhood that you’re in right now. 💐

Somewhere between rushing to the next thing and trying to keep up with everything, we forget how much beauty is quietly happening around us. The way the light hits the trees, the calm in the air, the tiny moments that don’t ask for attention but deserve it anyway.

Lately, I’ve been learning to slow down long enough to actually notice it all. Not every beautiful moment comes with fireworks, sometimes it’s just peace, stillness, and being fully present where you are. And honestly, those moments might mean the most.

A reminder to myself (and maybe you too): look up more, breathe deeper, and don’t let life move so fast that you miss how beautiful it already is.

Plant seeds of self-care this May, and nurture your mind like the garden it is meant to flourish in.” 🌱

During Mental Health Awareness Month, let this be your gentle reminder that growth doesn’t happen overnight and it doesn’t have to. Just like a garden, your mind needs consistent care, patience, and compassion. Some days will feel like sunshine, others like rain, but both are necessary for you to bloom.

Water yourself with kindness. Speak to yourself with understanding. Pull out the weeds of self-doubt when they start to take over, and make space for thoughts that uplift and support you. Rest when you need to because even the strongest gardens need time to recharge.

You are allowed to grow at your own pace. You are allowed to start over. And most importantly, you are worthy of the same love and care you so freely give to others.

This May, choose to nurture you.

“Just tell me what I’m doing wrong… you’re the professional.”
We hear this from so many parents and it almost always comes from a place of love, worry, and a deep desire to do right by your child.
The truth is, most parents aren’t doing things “wrong.” You’re showing up, trying your best, caring deeply, and that matters more than any perfect response in a hard moment.
Our role isn’t to judge or point fingers. It’s to sit alongside you, help you better understand your child’s needs, strengthen your relationship, and build tools that feel realistic, supportive, and sustainable in your everyday life.
Sometimes it’s not about changing everything. It’s about small shifts. A different way of responding. A moment of connection before correction. Slowing things down enough to really see what your child is communicating beneath the behavior.
Parenting is full of learning moments, for all of us. You don’t have to have all the answers. You don’t have to do it alone. You just have to keep showing up and we’ll figure it out together.
