For many patients, the consultation is the moment they've been thinking about for months, sometimes years. It's the step that turns a private consideration into a real conversation. We take that seriously.
Every consultation at Gartner Plastic Surgery is private, unhurried, and led personally by Dr. Gartner. There is no script, no template.
Here's what you can expect:
A real conversation about your goals. Not a checklist. Dr. G will ask what's brought you in, what you've been considering, and what outcome would feel meaningful to you. Many patients tell us this is the first time they've felt fully heard about what they want.
An honest, double board-certified assessment. Dr. Gartner will give you his professional, clinical perspective on what is achievable, what he would recommend, and just as importantly, what he would not.
If a procedure isn't the right path, he will tell you.
A clear picture of the process. From the technique itself to the recovery timeline, the investment, and what life looks like in the weeks and months after. You leave the consultation understanding the full picture, not just the highlights.
The option to move forward when you're ready. Many of our patients choose to book their procedure on the day of their consultation, while others take time to consider. Either path is the right one. What matters is that the decision feels clear.
