🎃👻 Yesterday, we celebrated our October birthdays with a fun Halloween-themed birthday party! 🧡🖤 A big thank you to Signature Home Health and Waterford Hospice for hosting and bringing all the spooky fun, including some Witch’s Brew punch, Halloween cookies, and fun games for everyone to enjoy! 🧙‍♀️🍪

We are so thankful for our wonderful community partners who help make these celebrations extra special for our residents. Happy Birthday to all of our October birthday crew! 🥳🎂🕸️

Our monthly Activity Auction was a good one, with lots of fun fall goodies up for grabs! 🎃🍁 Our residents love spending those hard-earned activity points, and we love watching the friendly competition!

Of course, Gina stole the show as our favorite auctioneer! 😂🙌 We love this monthly tradition at The Plaza! 🧡

Today was a very special and meaningful outing for our residents at the Red River Valley Veterans Memorial. ❤️🇺🇸

Mr. Bobby had the opportunity to show us his plaque at the memorial, and we were honored to recognize the husbands of Miss Skinner and Miss Fletcher, who are also memorialized there. Hearing the personal stories and family history shared made this visit especially touching and reminded us of the sacrifices and legacies that deserve to be remembered.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to share these meaningful moments with our residents and honor those who have served. ❤️🤍💙

🎪🤡 What a FUN day at The Plaza! 🐶⚽️

Today, we had a special visit from a circus performer who brought along his three talented dogs to show off their soccer skills in a game of “Soccer Collie”! 🐾 It was so much fun watching our residents enjoy the show, seeing so many smiles on their faces, and watching them get involved and participate. Those moments are what make days like today so special! ❤️

We also had a clown join us for a fun-filled show, complete with laughs, entertainment, and the cutest balloon animals! 🎈🤡

We are so thankful for opportunities like these that bring excitement, laughter, and a little extra magic to our residents’ day. We loved every minute of it! 🥰🎪

We had such a great time at the Annual Red River Valley Fair Association Senior Health Fair!

The Plaza was so happy to be involved in such a fun event and spend the day visiting with so many wonderful people in our community! We enjoyed plenty of bingo, lots of door prizes, and even more great conversations. 💙

We loved getting out, connecting with our community, and being part of a day dedicated to our amazing seniors.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the Senior Health Fair such a fun day! We had a blast and can’t wait to be back next year! 🎉🩵

Snow cones from Kona Ice of Paris earlier this week and pizza on Friday were just a small token of our appreciation for our amazing staff. 🍧🍕

Our team gives so much each and every day to our residents, and they deserve so much more than we could ever give. We are incredibly thankful for each person who makes The Plaza what it is, and we truly couldn’t do what we do without them.

Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and all the heart you put into caring for our residents. We appreciate you more than you know! ❤️

We celebrated the best way we know how — with delicious cheeseburgers for lunch! 😋

A big thank you to Winnie and Shelly for cooking up a wonderful lunch, with Winnie firing up the grill for those burgers! 🔥🍔 And of course, Margie made the day even sweeter with delicious sundaes for dessert! 🍨✨

Yesterday, The Plaza had such a wonderful time hosting Coffee & Concerts at PrimeTime! ☕️🎶 We brought coffee, muffins, and scones for everyone to enjoy while listening to some beautiful classic country and gospel music sung by Callie Crawford.

The music was so special that there were even a few tears shed. ❤️ We had such a great time enjoying good music, fellowship, and time together. Thank you, Primetime, for allowing The Plaza to be a part of such a special morning! We can’t wait to do it again in a couple of months! 🎸☕️

Our residents got the day started with some Chair Yoga- stretching, moving, smiling, and enjoying a little time together. 🧘‍♀️💛 There’s nothing better than starting the day with movement and good company!
