“I once was…” ❤️

This activity turned into something so much more than a canvas. Each of our residents created a piece representing a part of who they once were… the careers they had, the roles they filled, and the lives they lived long before we knew them here at The Home Place.

We also had some very special helpers! The North Lamar Volleyball girls joined us to help our residents create their canvases, and we absolutely loved having them. 🏐❤️ Watching two generations spend time together, talk, laugh, and create something meaningful was easily our favorite part.

Our residents may be older now, but behind every handprint is an entire lifetime of stories worth knowing. ❤️
