Beginning July 1, 2026, eligible Medicare Part D beneficiaries may have access to Wegovy® or Zepbound® through the new Medicare GLP-1 Bridge demonstration program.

If you’ve been interested in GLP-1 medications for weight management but haven’t had Medicare coverage, this new program could open the door to new treatment options.

At Tapia Internal Medicine Clinic, we’re staying up to date on this exciting program and will help determine if you may qualify once eligibility details are finalized.
