🕕 Opening: Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 6:00 PM
🕕 Closing: Monday, July 6, 2026 at 6:00 AM
That's 84 continuous hours of emergency and urgent veterinary care throughout the entire holiday weekend.
The Fourth of July weekend is one of the busiest times of the year for pet emergencies, including:
🎇 Firework anxiety and noise phobias
☀️ Heat exhaustion and heat stroke
☠️ Toxicities and accidental ingestions
🚗 Trauma and accidents
🐾 Sudden illness and urgent medical concerns
Planning Ahead for Fireworks?
If your pet has a history of anxiety during fireworks, now is the time to contact your primary care veterinarian and request anti-anxiety medications. Most medications work best when started at least 24 hours before fireworks and holiday celebrations begin.
Forgot to plan ahead? Don't worry—we've got you covered. Our veterinarians will be available throughout the holiday weekend to help pets experiencing firework-related anxiety and other urgent medical concerns.
As you celebrate, please remember to:
✅ Keep pets indoors during fireworks
✅ Ensure collars and ID tags are up to date
✅ Provide a safe, quiet place for anxious pets
✅ Start prescribed anxiety medications before celebrations begin
✅ Keep food scraps, alcohol & drugs, and fireworks out of reach
Have a safe and happy Independence Day weekend, and know that if the unexpected happens, Solara Vets–Paris is here for you and your pets.
