A few weeks ago, we asked you a question: who can you actually trust to look after Mom while you are away?

Now you have the answer.

Allegiance Entrust means daily check-in calls, in-person wellness visits, medication oversight, and a licensed nurse who notices what others miss — all so you can finally book the trip without the guilt that usually comes with it.

Summer travel season is here. For the first time, it does not have to come with a side of worry.

Entrust them to us. Then go enjoy your trip.

It means more than a daily phone call.

When you Entrust your loved one to Allegiance, our Registered Nurse Patient Advocates show up in person.

They notice the things a family member on FaceTime cannot. The slight change in gait. The medication missed twice this week. The refrigerator that has not been opened. The mood that is quieter than usual.

Swipe through to see exactly what Entrust includes.
We are trained to see what others miss — and to communicate what matters before it becomes a crisis.

Entrust is not a monitoring service. It is clinical presence. It is a licensed professional who is accountable to your family.

So when you board that flight, you are not leaving your parent alone. You are leaving them with us.

“Is there someone I can actually trust to look after Mom while I am away?”

Yes. There is.

Allegiance Entrust is our answer to a question we hear from families every week.

Allegiance Entrust is a dedicated care monitoring program led by our Registered Nurse Patient Advocates. While you travel — for work, for rest, for a long-overdue break — we become the clinical eyes, ears, and steady presence your loved one deserves.

Daily check-in calls. In-person wellness visits. Medication oversight. Immediate family communication if anything changes.

Not a neighbor checking in. Not an app. A licensed nurse who knows your parent and knows what to watch for.

Entrust them to us. Then go.

Contact us at 847-612-6684 for a free 20 min consultation.

If you are part of the Sandwich Generation, you already know this feeling.

The flight is booked. The hotel is beautiful. And somewhere between boarding and landing, the guilt sets in.
Did Mom take her medication? Did Dad eat today? Is anyone actually checking on them?

You carry this weight every single time you step away — whether it is a long weekend or a two-week trip you have been postponing for three years.
We see you. And we built something for you. Follow us in the weeks to come to see how we can help!

It is the question every adult child asks themselves before a trip.

Who is actually checking in? Who would know if something changed? Who can you trust the way you would trust yourself?

We have been listening to families ask this question for a long time.

This summer, we are revealing the answer.
Stay close over the next few weeks.

Follow along — the answer is coming.

You rearranged your life. You show up every single day — even the hard days, even the days that break your heart a little. You have become an expert in medications, appointments, moods, and moments. And most of the time, you do all of this without anyone asking how you're holding up. So we're asking. How are you doing? Caregiving is an act of profound love — and it is also an enormous weight. You deserve support too. You deserve rest, resources, and someone who sees what you're carrying. We do.

We can't control our age or our genetics. But research shows that nearly 40% of dementia cases could potentially be delayed or prevented by addressing modifiable risk factors.

That's not a small number — that's enormous. The risk factors include: untreated hearing loss, high blood pressure, physical inactivity, social isolation, and chronic sleep disruption. None of these is a guarantee. But all of them are opportunities. Small changes, made consistently, add up. Your brain is worth investing in — at any age.

Two-thirds of people with Alzheimer's are women. That's not just a demographic coincidence — researchers believe hormonal changes, particularly the decline in estrogen during and after menopause, may play a significant role in cognitive vulnerability. Brain fog, memory changes, and mood shifts during menopause are real — and they deserve to be taken seriously, not dismissed as just getting older. This is not about fear. It's about information. The more you understand your own biology, the more empowered you are to protect it. Talk to your doctor. Ask the questions. You deserve answers.

This one surprises a lot of people. Research shows that untreated hearing loss is one of the most significant modifiable risk factors for dementia — and one of the most overlooked.

When the brain is working overtime to decode sound, cognitive resources get redirected. Over time, that strain adds up.

The good news: it's a risk factor we can act on. Getting your hearing checked — and treated if needed — may be one of the most powerful things you can do for your long-term brain health. When did you last have a hearing evaluation?

"I wish we'd had someone to tell us we didn't have to accept the first plan." "I didn't know I could ask for a second opinion." "We lost months trying to figure out the system on our own." These are the things families tell us — not as complaints, but as wishes. Wishes that someone had told them sooner that help was available. Consider this your reminder: help is available. A patient advocate is not a luxury. It is one of the most valuable decisions a family can make after a diagnosis.
