What a wonderful day at the 5 Sullivan Brothers Veteran's Memorial Museum 🇺🇸

There were plenty of “oohs” and “ahhs” as we explored the exhibits, but some of the best moments came from reminiscing together sharing where we were and what we remembered when different moments in history took place. ❤️

A special thank you to Hope, Shanna, and Collin for your patience, kindness, and incredible knowledge. You helped make the experience that much more meaningful for our Parker Place crew!

Days like this remind us just how special it is to experience history alongside those who lived through so much of it. 🇺🇸

Girlhood doesn’t end when you leave your 20s. 💕

It’s still there in the laughter with your girlfriends, the little moments of silliness, the stories you’ve told a hundred times, and the kind of friendship that makes an ordinary day feel special.

These three ladies in our Indigo neighborhood were the perfect reminder that no matter how many birthdays come and go, there’s still a girl inside all of us who wants to laugh, connect, and enjoy the moment. 💗

Because growing older doesn’t mean growing out of the things that bring us joy.

Girlhood doesn’t have an expiration date. 🌸

We had an amazing time at our Courtyard Cookout! ☀️🌭

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, spent time with us, and helped make the afternoon so much fun. Seeing neighbors, friends, families, and community members enjoying great food and even better company is what Parker Place is all about.

I also wanted to record a quick personal thank you to everyone who attended. The video below is simply my way of saying how much I appreciate you taking the time to join us. Your support means a lot, and I hope to see you at our next event!

Hi everyone! I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself.

I’m Dean, and I have the privilege of helping families learn more about life at Parker Place. A big part of what I do is answer questions, give tours, connect people with helpful resources, and make the senior living search feel a little less overwhelming.

We currently have a few apartments available, and we offer tours 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We know families are busy and that questions do not always come up Monday through Friday, so we are happy to work around your schedule.

I’ll be adding links below to video tours of some of our apartment options so you can take a look from home. Of course, nothing compares to seeing the community in person, meeting the people who live and work here, and getting a feel for what everyday life at Parker Place is really like.

Whether you are actively looking, planning ahead, or simply have questions, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to have a conversation and help however I can.

One of the biggest worries we hear is, “Will I know anyone?”

The beautiful thing is… today’s neighbor can become tomorrow’s coffee buddy, card partner, or someone who feels like family.

At Parker Place, friendships don’t have to be lifelong to be life-changing.

🦆 Operation: Outsell Kate has begun. 🦆

Rumor has it Kate is pretty good at selling Parkersburg Lions Duck Race tickets… so I had to bring in some reinforcements. Meet Daphne the Duck! 💛

If Kate hasn’t tracked you down yet, stop by Parker Place each weekday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM to snap a photo with Daphne! (She has a strict union contract after 4:00 she clocks out and heads back to the pond. 😄)

📸 Take a picture with Daphne, post it on Facebook, and tag Parker Place and the Parkersburg Lions Club so we can see your photos!

Oh… and while you’re here… maybe buy a Duck Race ticket from me!
