🍂🎪 Harvest of Hope Carnival is happening TODAY at Parker Place! 🎪🍂

Come hungry, because we’ve got some seriously good food lined up! 🌮 Doña Mari’s Tacos is here serving up tacos, burritos, quesadillas, sopes, gorditas and more — and when you’re ready for dessert, Fried Fun Cakes has you covered with funnel cakes, fried Oreos, churros, fried Twinkies and other carnival favorites! 😋

And the food is just part of the fun. We’ll have carnival games, raffle prizes, community booths and plenty of family-friendly activities throughout the event.

💜 Proceeds from our raffle benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.

Look at what a little sunshine, care, and community can do! 🌸🌿

Earlier this spring, Aplington-Parkersburg FFA & Ag Sciences generously donated flowers to Parker Place and our residents have loved watching them grow and flourish all season long. Just look at how beautiful they’ve become! ❤️

There’s something special about seeing a small act of kindness continue to bloom months later. A huge thank you to the FFA for helping add so much color and joy to our courtyard this year.

And of course, we had to stop for a picture with some of the ladies who have enjoyed them along the way! 🌺😊

🏈 The Cy-Hawk rivalry has made its way to Parker Place! 🏈

With the big Hawkeyes vs. Cyclones game tomorrow, Kendyl threw on the black and gold 🖤💛, Sarah represented the cardinal and gold ❤️💛, and they went around asking our residents one very important question…

The residents cast their votes with a high five 🙌 and, as you can imagine, there were definitely some strong opinions! 😂
