The Arc of the Mid Ohio Valley Advocacy and resources for people with disabilities. We would like our page to be a responsive and motivating environment for all to enjoy and partake.

The Arc of the Mid Ohio Valley provides programs and services to over 3,000 families/individuals on an annual basis. The Mid Ohio Valley chapter of The Arc serves a 10-county region, but expands to the entire state of West Virginia for several programs. We oversee and implement 28 programs and services in the areas of family support and advocacy, information and referral, direct support, adult liv

ing skills, health and wellness, early intervention, assistive technology and individual and community education. In order to maintain this environment, we have some expectations for all our fans to follow. What is Olmstead, and why does it matter?

The 1999 Olmstead Supreme Court decision affirmed that people with disabilities have the right to live and receive services in the most integrated community setting appropriate to their needs.
