On this day, June 13th, 2016, I officially registered Routine Kneads Massage Therapy as a business.

A lot has happened in 10 years.

For the entire 10 years, I have stayed consistently dedicated to growing this business 7 days a week. I have invested countless hours, helped countless clients, and continued growing my practice from renting a small office to buying a building on Camden Ave in Parkersburg. Now, I am in the process of establishing a second Routine Kneads location in Belpre, Ohio.

I still have so much more growth to achieve and countless more people to help.

As my practice grows over the coming years, I look forward to being able to train new massage therapists in the techniques that helped establish my business. Techniques that provide actual pain relief, not just a relaxing, fluffy massage.

As many of you who know me already know, my brain never stops thinking about the next big project, the next step, and the next goal I need to accomplish. For that reason, I have no doubt that the next several years of growth and development are going to be exceptional.

I want to thank every single person who has supported my business, booked with me, referred someone, shared a post, purchased a gift certificate, or simply followed along with my journey.

Routine Kneads has come a long way, but I truly believe this is still just the beginning.

I will continue developing this business into what I believe will become the best known massage therapy business this area has ever had.

Today marks 1 year since Heather Beeson joined Routine Kneads, and I couldn’t be more proud of the work she’s done.

Heather has built a fantastic reputation with her clients through her knowledge, professionalism, and ability to provide real pain management focused techniqes. She has been a great addition to Routine Kneads, and we have so much more planned for her and the business moving forward.

Appalachian Grove is located inside of Routine Kneads Massage Therapy at 2814 Camden Ave. Willow will be here 12pm-4pm today operating the store front.

We’ve got some big news.

I officially purchased a new property, and Routine Kneads is expanding. We will be opening a second location in Belpre, Ohio right on Washington Blvd near Farson Street and the hospital. The new location is also near Domino’s, directly beside Frostee Shoppe, and across the road from Giovanni’s Pizza.

I am still working through the details, so there is no exact opening date yet. There is a good bit of remodeling to be done and I will be building a team to help operate the new location. Based on how hiring goes, I am anticipating an opening within around a 1 year timeframe. Business is growing incredibly fast, and I am excited for all the new developments coming.

I, Austin McConnell, will continue to personally work out of the 2814 Camden Ave location in Parkersburg, WV indefinitely.

With this growth, I do need to make a small adjustment to my pricing. This is something I have held off on for awhile now as I built up everything, but between rising costs, the expansion, rising demand for appointments, and the amount of hours I put in each week, it is time.

For those who do not know, I currently work
Monday through Friday 10am to 9:15pm
Saturday and Sunday 8am to 9pm

I do everything I can to stay available and help as many people as possible, but that kind of schedule takes a toll over time on my body and my personal life.

Even with the increase, I will still be priced under most therapists in the area. What I offer is focused, results driven work centered around pain relief and long term improvement, and that is not changing.
