At RNFAS, we know that a strong community shows up for one another—and right now, it’s time to show up for Chris.

Many of you know Chris Mazzarella through his incredible dedication to our town. Whether it’s keeping our community connected through our favorite local Facebook group, volunteering countless hours with Little League, or always stepping up to help others, Chris has spent years giving back without ever asking for anything in return.

Rockaway Neck First Aid Squad Announces Strategic Rebrand

Parsippany, NJ — After years of confusion, mild outrage, and at least 47 people asking “wait… where are you actually located?”, Rockaway Neck First Aid Squad is proud to announce a bold and necessary rebranding initiative.

Effective immediately, we will now be known as:

✨🚑 Parsippany Boo Boo Bus 🚑✨

This exciting change reflects our ongoing commitment to clarity, transparency, and meeting the community exactly where they are—emotionally and geographically.

“We heard the people,” said absolutely no one in particular. “And the people said, ‘your name is confusing.’ So we said, ‘what if we made it… worse, but also better?’”

Residents can expect no changes to response times, quality of care, or our ability to show up when you least expect us but most definitely need us.

We appreciate your continued support during this transition and look forward to serving the community under our new, extremely official and totally serious name.

For emergencies, please continue to call 911. For non-emergencies, just whisper “Boo Boo Bus” three times into the wind and we’ll sense it.

Sundays are for the Youth Squad 💪🏻🚑
This morning, our Junior Members & Advisors ran an equipment drill. Aside from going through the entire ambulance, the Juniors practiced various methods of moving patients with real-life obstacles like stairs, furniture, uneven terrain, etc. They also used equipment to practice taking vital signs, splinting, and other emergency measures. Way to go, 66!
