Crafting with a Purpose…..Some crafts are more than just creative self expression. Today, the residents designed beautiful necklaces while strengthening several key skills; eye-hand coordination, relaxation, socialization, focusing, as well as problem solving.

The residents started the week on a high note by baking delicious cupcakes. Baking is extremely calming and relaxing for the residents. It is also a great method to reminisce.

National Dreamsicle Day…..Some treats trigger sweet memories and that is exactly what the Dreamsicles did for the residents today. The orange vanilla creamy treat was a perfect nostalgic treat from the past.

Today at The Reserve at Pasadena, Elvis was in the building! The concert was electrifying. The residents reverted back to their youth, gushing over The King. There was a lot of singing and dancing. Some of Elvis’ favorite foods were severed, Pepsi, pickles, barbecue pizza, and peanut butter and banana sandwiches. It was a great time for all who were there.

Game Hour at the Reserve at Pasadena is always a highly chosen activity. Not only are the games stimulating but also exhilarating. The residents always have a good time.
