October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Supporting causes are very important to the residents as well as the staff at The Reserve at Pasadena. Today, they hosted the Annual Breast Cancer Walk by
walking around the community. Although, some were in wheelchairs and some were on walkers, their energy was electrifying and everyone had a great time.

Our Ms. LuLu is hungry for some sweet treats and selfies. Please satisfy her hunger with a bag of individually wrapped candy and take a selfie with our adorable notorious Ms. LuLu. All treats donated will be given to the princesses, action figures and monsters at the Halloween Trunk or Treat on October 23rd at 4 p.m.. Thank You!

At The Reserve, we believe in enhancing our residents quality of life. We encourage them to be their best by nurturing their existing skills. On Wednesdays, Mr. Jeffery does a great job leading the Ball Toss activity. His patience, kindness and gentleness motivate the ladies to try their best to catch the ball. It is a win win situation for all who participate. Thank you Mr. Jeffery for being a great leader and motivator.

On this National Coffee Day, have you had your Cup of Joe? The residents tried a cup of Carmel Ice Coffee today. The coffee was a crowd pleaser and the residents are eager to try it again. Thanks to Mrs. Barbara for serving with a smile.

Mondays are called Sweet Treat Mondays because the baking club bakes homemade treats for their peers and the staff. Today, they baked chocolate chips and m & m cookies. The cookies were so delicious that today was renamed to Thumbs Up Monday. If you have a simple recipe that you would like to share with our baking club, please email it to [email protected].

National Ice Cream Cones……At The Reserve, every day is a good day for ice cream. When you add cones, the day is elevated even more.
