So incredibly grateful for the trust my patients place in me.

This wonderful and vibrant woman was referred to me with concerns for changes related to photo- and chronoaging. She felt energetic, vibrant and happy inside, but started to feel that her appearance didn’t match how she felt about herself. So we came up with a plan.

Her goal was to look refreshed, well rested, and naturally rejuvenated— but without looking overdone . No dramatic changes, just subtle, elegant enhancement that let her look like herself on her very best day.

For her, I performed an invisible access temporal brow lift, upper eyelid lift, extended deep-plane facelift, deep plane necklift, platysmaplasty, and full face CO2 laser. She is a couple months out, she’s healing incredibly well and will continue to improve.

This wonderful lady, who I’ve known for some time, presented with concerns for changes related to photo- and chronoaging. She felt energetic, happy and spunky inside, but started to feel that her appearance didn’t match how she felt about herself. So we came up with a plan.

For her, I performed an extended plane facelift, necklift, platysmaplasty, lower skin pinch blepharoplasty and full face CO2 laser. These are her 8 week results. She’s healing well, and her swelling and redness will continue to improve.

Another one!

Our practice does the most paramedian forehead flap reconstruction repairs of any single surgeon/single practice in Southern California. Nearly one a week. Here is another example of how robust this repair really is.

This kind patient was sent to me for an invasive melanoma on the tip of his nose. Instead of undergoing antiquated traditional melanoma surgery (which consists of wide local excision, either staged or routine)! which has a recurrence rate of nearly 30% for melanomas on the head and neck, he underwent advanced Mohs micrographic surgery with intra-operative immunostaining to ensure true margin analysis and complete tumor removal. The melanoma was cleared after 2 stages. Tumor cure rates with high-quality advanced Mohs micrographic surgery with IHC exceed 99% at 10 years, far surpassing older traditional melanoma surgery.

After clearing the cancer, a small but cosmetically sensitive defect was left on the nose. Although there are many ways to repair this defect, my go-to reconstructive technique for wounds in this area of the nose is a 2-stage paramedian forehead flap for the nose. Many surgeons and patients shy away from these reconstructive techniques because of the perceived challenges, but when executed correctly, it provides unparalleled cosmetic and functional restoration of the nose.

This is his follow up result at just 6 months. All things considered, he is elated.

As with all cases, cancer resection and facial reconstruction were performed with the patient fully awake but completely comfortable.
