We are excited to welcome Dr. Chau Vu to Spine & Pain Institute Los Angeles!
Dr. Vu is double board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine before completing her General Surgery internship and Anesthesiology residency at Drexel University College of Medicine. She then pursued fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where she trained under nationally recognized leaders in the field.
Dr. Vu specializes in advanced interventional therapies, including spinal cord stimulation, dorsal root ganglion stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, radiofrequency ablation, kyphoplasty, sacroiliac joint interventions, regenerative medicine, and minimally invasive spine procedures.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Vu is deeply committed to advancing the field of pain medicine through physician education and leadership. She regularly teaches and lectures through ASPN, PSPS, NANS, and IEP, educating pain management fellows and fellow physicians. In 2023, she was honored with the ASPN Young Innovator Award, and her continued commitment to the field has led to her election to the Pacific Spine & Pain Society Board of Directors.
