Convalescent Aid Society Convalescent Aid Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving all of San Gabriel Valley and San Fernando Valley. We don't take any government funding.

We provide free loans of medical equipment to anyone in our service area regardless of age, income, or insurance status. Convalescent Aid Society is a nonprofit that provides free loans of medical equipment to residents of San Gabriel Valley and San Fernando Valley from our offices in Pasadena and Burbank. We have no restrictions on income, age, medical insurance (we don't ask), or doctor referral

s. Anyone who needs equipment can go to our website and apply at www.cas1.org. We operate thanks to the generous support of our community donors and local foundations. Donations both monetary and equipment are always welcome!

Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, we have more amazing wines than ever, with every bottle valued at $45 or more.

New this year, guests will also have the chance to win gift cards in lieu of wine - so everyone can join in the fun!

We are so grateful to everyone who has supported this year’s Garden Party and will be joining us on October 4th. Your generosity helps CAS continue providing free loans of wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds and other durable medical equipment to people throughout the San Gabriel and San Fernando Valleys.

How is the Convalescent Aid Society Garden Party such a huge success year after year? It takes an incredible committee behind the scenes! 🌿

This year, led by our wonderful Co-Chairs Kim Burbank and Robel Gugsa, our Garden Party Committee spends countless hours helping bring this special event to life.

From planning and budgets to creative ideas, sponsor outreach, and gathering amazing Opportunity Drawing prizes, these dedicated volunteers play a huge role in making the Garden Party a success.

All are busy professionals who generously make time in their schedules to share their experience, connections, creativity, and energy with CAS.

It was an honor to join the Burbank Nonprofit Coalition in presenting to the Burbank City Council about the power of collaboration in serving our community.

A huge thank you to Mayor Tamala Takahashi and the Burbank City Council for giving us the opportunity to share our work. The Coalition is made up of local nonprofits that come together to support one another, share resources, and strengthen the services available to the Burbank community.

We're especially proud to have helped create www.BurbankCares.org, a one-stop resource connecting residents with local nonprofit services. Thank you to our incredible coalition leader, Shanna Warren, for the countless hours she's dedicated to making this group a success, and to Romik Hacobian of the Burbank Armenian Association for creating this valuable resource.

We were honored to present alongside Brianna Ziegler, LCSW about the wonderful partnership between Convalescent Aid Society and Leeza's Care Connection, and how working together allows us to better serve those who need us most.

Convalescent Aid Society now has a location in the City of Burbank, allowing us to serve the entire San Fernando Valley with free loans of medical equipment.
