"Red wine is good for you!" I'm sure you've read or heard that somewhere. Unfortunately, it's not that simple.
Many of my clients who carry on a regular drinking habit are wondering if it is really serving them in the long run. Those who decide to cut back or to give it up for a while, report awesome results in their health, weight, sleep patterns, energy, and mood. And most of them have zero desire to go back once they experience how much better they feel when they aren't subjecting their bodies to the repeating cycle of alcohol detoxification. To be fair, I also experience a few clients who choose to keep their drinking habits going...and that's totally okay! I think the important thing is making sure you have full, conscious awareness of your behaviors, and the cause and effect of what's happening.
I wrote a blog article that breaks down the real facts about alcohol consumption and how it might be impacting your health and fitness outcomes. I invite you to read with an open mind-- no judgement, just an evidence based discussion.
