Dear Patients,

After 36 rewarding years practicing podiatric medicine, I will be retiring from private practice and closing my office effective August 31, 2026.

I have truly valued the relationships I have built with my patients over the years. Many of you I have known for decades, and caring for you has meant more to me than I can fully express. I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me throughout my years in practice.

Our office will continue to see patients and provide care until August 31, 2026. After that time, you should continue your care with another physician. You are free to choose any podiatrist or healthcare provider you prefer. If you would like assistance identifying a podiatrist in the area, our office staff will be happy to provide suggestions.

Your medical records will remain confidential and securely stored in accordance with state regulations for 7 years.

There will be two ways to access your medical records. As previously, you may download a copy of your records through the Patient Portal. This portal is expected to remain available at least through October 2026. To access the portal, please contact our staff to obtain a username and password. You may then visit Dr. Mickenberg’s website and select the Patient Portal button or use the direct link below:

After the office closes and the patient portal is no longer available, requests for medical records can be sent to:

Please do not include sensitive medical information in your initial email request.

It seems we are now on the other side of the epidemic and life is getting back to normal. Like most small businesses, the epidemic hit us hard. However, because of YOU, we are now busier than ever. I just wanted to sincerely and humbly thank my recurring patients for putting their trust in my office for their foot care needs over the years (over 32 years now). I wanted to also extend my appreciation to all my new patients for making that initial appointment and trying us. Welcome aboard. Let's all try to be optimistic for a wonderful 2nd half of the year.
