Must be 18 years old
High school diploma and or (GED)
Completion of State approved CNA education and training program
Valid Mississippi Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification/license
Greeting clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
Performing administrative duties but not limited to copying, faxing, taking notes, creating documents and making travel plans.
Scheduling appointments for outpatient clinics, performing referrals and prior authorizations.
Entering new and established patient information into EMR system.
Entering and submitting billing through EMR system.
Obtaining vital signs and collecting urine specimens for the Medication Assisted Treatment Program
Collecting medical histories and updating that information into the EMR.
Knowledge of medical terminology
High level of professionalism, customer service, confidentiality, patience, empathy and compassion.
Prior experience as a receptionist or in related field
Consistent, professional dress and manner (uniforms will be provided)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and transcribing.
Duties are not limited to the above.
