✨ What an incredible night! ✨

Pataskala Oaks Care Center hosted a fantastic Q&A event packed with amazing information about everything our local community has to offer. From fascinating historical sites and YMCA classes to 3D printing, book clubs, Meals on Wheels, and local transit options—we covered it all! We had a blast answering so many great questions.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, and a special shoutout to our wonderful speakers from the Historical Society, Pataskala Library, LCAP, YMCA, and Licking County Transit for sharing their time and expertise with us! 💙👇

🚚✨ FOOD TRUCK FUNDRAISER EVENT & BASKET RAFFLE! ✨🧺 Hi everyone!! Just throwing out a little tease of a couple of awesome baskets we already have lined up for our Food Truck Event this Thursday from 3-7 PM right here in our parking lot! (And trust us, more are on the way! 🙌) Come out to celebrate summer, enjoy some delicious local eats, AND help support an incredibly great cause—Alzheimer's Awareness. 💜 Proceeds from the food trucks and 100% of the money raised from the basket raffle go directly towards the fight for a cure. 🌟 Employee Spotlight: Cheryl Kirkpatrick! 🌟 Join us in celebrating our Lead Housekeeper, Cheryl, who has been with Pataskala Oaks Care Center for 14 years! After briefly trying another workplace, she returned because our close-knit facility treats residents like family, not just a number. Cheryl lives by the advice to always show respect, treating every room she cleans as a resident's true home. Her favorite part of the job? "I make a difference for our residents. It’s the little things that add up every day." Known for her sweet, calm composure, Cheryl jokes that her coworkers would be shocked if she ever just lost it and screamed! Fun facts: she’d happily eat salad every day and wishes for the superpower to cure cancer. Cheryl describes our residents as "loving" and notes they often just want someone to talk to. While she encourages everyone to visit their loved ones as much as possible, you can count on Cheryl to be here providing a clean, safe environment and a calm, listening ear. Thank you for all you do, Cheryl! 🎉❤️

🏇✨ Bettin’ on the Ponies at Pataskala Oaks Care Center!! It was all fun and games with chips flying across the table building up "The Pot" and, of course, the excitement of gathering up all those winning chips! Our residents brought the energy, the strategy, and a whole lot of smiles to the track. Who’s feeling lucky? 🍀🐎

"High Stakes and High Fun" with the seniors at Chimes Terrace! Continuing the excitement of the Kentucky Derby, Preakness, and Belmont, we baked two delicious Bourbon Pecan Pies and whipped up a savory pimento cheese spread. While the food kept us fueled, we tested our luck with a Horse Racing Game. With chips flying, cards in hand, and the lucky (or not-so-lucky!) roll of the dice, everyone rooted for their own horses. The dice were unpredictable, but with so much great food and laughter, everyone walked away a winner! 🐎🏆🥧
