We served it up creole style at today’s Taste of Louisiana Luncheon! The afternoon was a true bayou celebration while residents enjoyed delicious fried okra, shrimp Po’boys and flavorful jambalaya while relaxing to the sounds of smooth jazz from two different musical groups spread out across two beautifully decorated dining rooms! From the food to the music, the atmosphere brought all the charm and soul of the Louisiana Bayou right to our community! As we enjoyed the music and fun, we also took a heartfelt moment of silence to honor and remember the brave veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
