Our residents enjoyed spending time together, sharing smiles, and treating themselves to some delicious cake! We also loved welcoming members of the Knights of Columbus for a special visit. ❤️

It’s moments like these that make our community so special. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day enjoyable!

💪 FITNESS FRIDAY: STRONGER TOGETHER! 🧠❤️

It’s another busy Friday in the therapy gym at Patterson Healthcare Center!

Our residents have been putting in the work with a variety of activities designed to keep both their bodies and minds active! From building lower-body strength on the leg press and improving upper-body endurance with the hand bike to challenging memory, attention, and problem-solving skills through a friendly game of cards, there’s something for everyone!

Here in our therapy gym, we believe progress comes in all forms. Whether it’s strengthening muscles, sharpening cognitive skills, or enjoying a little friendly competition, every activity is another opportunity to work toward greater independence.

Strong bodies, sharp minds, and a whole lot of determination! 💙👏

Patterson Healthcare Center is collecting hat donations to benefit St. Mary Parish Roots & Ribbons. Your generosity can bring comfort and support to those affected by breast cancer. 🎀

🎃 PUMPKIN SPICE & THERAPY NICE! 🎃

Our Therapy Team brought a little fall fun into Speech, PT, and OT today! 🍂 Residents worked on their therapy goals while creating their own jack-o’-lanterns, because who says therapy can’t include a little creativity? 🧡

We worked on everything from strength, mobility, and fine motor skills to following directions, sequencing, memory, and problem solving while everyone gave their pumpkin a personality of its own. 🎃✨

And because no fall activity is complete without a treat… we finished the day with Brownie Pumpkins! Because around here, we take our therapy goals seriously, but our snacks pretty seriously too. 😂

Another day of turning hard work into something worth smiling about! 🧡🎃🍂

These senior bibs were lovingly made and donated by the talented ladies of the Magic Fingers Quilting Club from Napoleonville and presented by Milena. Patterson Healthcare was proud to support our local community with a donation of bicycles for the Patterson Police Department’s annual National Night Out! 🚲💙

🍎✨ AN APPLE A DAY… KEEPS THERAPY FUN! ✨🍎

Fall made its way into the Patterson Healthcare therapy gym! 🍂 Our residents worked alongside Speech, PT & OT to create their own glowing apple lamps, working on everything from following directions, memory and sequencing to fine motor skills, coordination and functional participation.

But we couldn’t stop at apple crafts… we had to make something we could EAT too. 😂 Residents helped “cook” warm apple pie dumplings in the air fryer, practicing functional skills and sequencing along the way. And, of course, the most important step was the official taste test! 🥧🍎

Craft it. Cook it. Eat it. That’s our kind of therapy. 😂❤️

Fall creativity was in full swing at Patterson! 🎃🍂

Residents had a wonderful time creating their own tissue paper pumpkins, choosing their favorite colors and carefully putting each design together!

It was a fun afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of fall spirit! 🧡
