Down to Earth Esthetics is more than a business to me. It’s a blessing, and I never want to take that for granted.

Have you ever thought about how important your ankles really are?

I can't say enough about ankle mobility and the relationship of everything on either side of the joint.

When your ankles don't move the way they're designed to, your body has to find another way. That compensation might show up in your feet, knees, hips, low back... even all the way up into your neck. The body is always trying to keep you moving, but sometimes it does so at a cost.
One thing I love about Rolfing is that it teaches me to look beyond where the pain is. I look at relationships. How is the foot supporting the ankle? How are the calves, knees, hips, and pelvis working together? Where is the body compensating?

I've seen clients gain better balance, walk with more ease, and even notice relief in places they never expected—all because we restored movement to the foundation.

The body is beautifully connected. Sometimes the key to feeling better isn't where it hurts... it's where it stopped moving.

👣 Movement is medicine. Balance is possible. The body is always telling a story—we just have to learn how to listen.

Heavenly Father,
As we step into a new month, I place my business in Your hands. Thank You for every client You have entrusted to me, every conversation, every opportunity to serve, and every blessing You have poured out.

Lord, let my business continue to be a reflection of Your love, peace, and goodness. Guide my hands, my words, and every decision I make. Bring the people who need what You have called me to offer, and help me serve each one with excellence, compassion, and integrity.

I pray for protection over my business, my family, and every client who walks through my doors. May they leave feeling refreshed, encouraged, and cared for in every way.

Let this month be filled with divine appointments, open doors, favor, provision, healing, and joy. May everything I do bring glory to You.

I've been doing a lot of reflecting lately.

It's hard to believe I'm already 2½ years into my Rolfing® career and stepping into year three.
Looking back, I can honestly say I'm not the same person I was when I started. I've grown so much—not just as a Rolfer, but spiritually too.

The beautiful thing is that those two journeys have grown together.

The closer I've drawn to the Lord, the more He's refined the way I work. I've learned to slow down, listen, trust what I'm feeling, and treat the person in front of me—not just their pain.

Every body has a story, and every session is unique.

I've started joking with my clients that I'm "Percling" my version of Rolfing®. 😄

So, what does Percling mean?

To me, it means taking the amazing foundation of Rolfing® and blending it with who God created me to be. It means using my hands, my heart, my intuition, my experience, and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide me as I help people move better, feel better, and reconnect with their bodies.

I'm not trying to be like anyone else. I'm becoming the Rolfer God has called me to be.

That realization has given me so much confidence and joy. I don't have to fit into someone else's mold. I can continue learning, growing, and serving in the unique way He designed for me.

Thank you to every person who has trusted me on your path to healing. You've helped shape mine too.

Here's to year three of "Percling"—growing, learning, serving, and giving God all the glory. ❤️

A little personal share...🌻🐝

The Lord often uses my own body to teach me and reveal connections.

One morning last week, I woke up and felt led to place my hands on my C-section scar(27years). Scar work is something I occasionally do on myself, but this time felt different.

Every time I explore and work with the body, more pieces seem to fall into place—those little "aha" moments that deepen my understanding.

As I worked on the scar, after a few minutes I began to feel releases. Then, a little while later, I felt a release in my neck.

Y'all... if that doesn't open your eyes to how connected the body truly is, I don't know what will.

A scar isn't always just a scar. Restrictions in one area can create tension and compensation patterns throughout the body. The fascia connects everything, and sometimes when one area begins to release, the effects can be felt somewhere completely different.

The body never ceases to amaze me. God designed it with such incredible wisdom and interconnectedness.

The more I learn, the more I stand in awe of His creation.

2nd hour work

One of the things I love about Structural Integration is helping people understand how connected the body truly is.

During a Session 2 appointment, I was working with a client on her feet, lower legs, and around the knees. As I worked, she began noticing sensations and changes happening all the way up in her neck. She was amazed!

The body isn't a collection of separate parts—it's connected through a web of fascia from head to toe. The feet provide the foundation for the entire body, and when we improve support, balance, and alignment from the ground up, it can create changes throughout the whole structure, including the spine and neck.
When the feet and legs function better, the body often doesn't have to compensate as much higher up the chain. Sometimes releasing restrictions in one area allows another area to let go as well.

It's always fascinating to watch clients experience these connections in real time and realize that where they feel pain isn't always where the root of the issue begins.
The body is wonderfully designed, and when given the opportunity, it knows how to find better balance and support. ❤️🙏🏻

🙌 A Little More Giving 🙌

After the free giveaway for Down to Earth Esthetics' 8-year anniversary, and a sweet client choosing to pay forward her free massage to someone in need, I have felt a gentle nudge from the Lord to keep it going.

God has been doing so much in my heart lately, reminding me that even small acts of kindness can make a big impact.

I want to continue creating opportunities to bless others, share a little love, and bring some joy to those who may need it most.

I don't know exactly where this journey will lead, but I'm excited to follow His direction and see what He does with it. 💜
