August is the perfect month to spotlight our Board President, Alycen Urban.
She’s a whiz at event planning and marketing, always brings the smiles and energy, and is helping lead this year’s Planted in Paulding Annual Banquet. In other words, she is exactly the kind of person you want in the room when there are 47 moving parts and somehow all of them needed handled yesterday.
Alycen says one of Paulding County’s greatest strengths is connection... which tracks, because connecting people is kind of her whole thing.
Through her work with CHP Home Care & Hospice, Alycen helps raise funds for local hospice care through events like the Beacon of Hope Dinner & Charity Auction. She first connected with Paulding County through fundraising efforts and says serving on the Chamber board has become one of the best things she has done for the organization she represents... the relationships she has built and the leadership she has gained along the way.
Outside of work and board service, Alycen is engaged to Jordan and mom to Owyn, Ayden, Jayne and Sawyer. She loves coffee, baking, lifting weights, trying new restaurants and backyard sunsets.
Thank you, Alycen, for the heart, energy and connection you bring to the Chamber board and to Paulding County.
Interested in networking with Alycen and others at our Annual Banquet on September 15?
You do not have to be a Chamber member to attend. This is a great time to come check us out, celebrate local businesses and community leaders, and see what the Chamber is all about.
We are also still accepting nominations for Business Professional of the Year, Young Professional of the Year, Legacy Award and Golden Shovel Awards.
