We are inviting you to join us for a special evening designed to answer the questions that many families don’t think about until they suddenly have to.
“Before the Need: Things Your Family Needs to Know Before They Need to Know Them” is a completely FREE, no-pressure community event focused on education, preparation, and giving families peace of mind.
***THIS IS FOR ANY AGE RANGE, you don’t have to be elder, sick, or recently diagnosed with something. Car accidents happen, tragic work accidents happen, and none of us truly know when it’s our time to go. If you have children, or don’t have any family, but want to make sure your wishes are followed, come to this event!***
Throughout the evening, you’ll be able to visit different educational stations, ask questions, and learn about topics such as funeral planning, trusts and insurance, life insurance, veterans benefits, estate and legal planning, monuments, cemetery planning, and even how to begin writing your own obituary.
I will also have a fun Myth or Fact — Funeral Edition where you can test what you know and maybe learn a few things you never knew about funeral service and end-of-life planning and some local and state laws.
This is NOT a sales event. There is absolutely no pressure or obligation to purchase anything. Our goal is simply to provide information that can help you make informed decisions for yourself and your family before those decisions have to be made especially during a difficult time when you walk into a funeral home after your loved one has passed and forget everything you have ever thought to ask.
Every attendee will receive a FREE “When My Time Comes” planning binder to take home and complete at their own pace. It’s a simple way to organize important information, wishes, and decisions so your family knows what you want when the time comes, plus it allows you to choose what YOU want to do.
