As you gather with family and friends to celebrate Independence Day, don't forget to protect one of your most valuable assets—your vision!

Fireworks are a beautiful part of the holiday, but they can also cause serious eye injuries. Here are a few tips to help keep your eyes safe:
🧨 Leave fireworks to the professionals whenever possible.
🧨 If using legal consumer fireworks, always wear protective safety glasses.
🧨 Keep a safe distance from fireworks and never relight a malfunctioning firework.
🧨 Supervise children closely and never allow them to handle fireworks.
🧨 If an eye injury occurs, seek immediate medical attention—don't rub the eye or try to remove any objects yourself.
