Great info!

Most people who try Far Infrared know one thing immediately: It works.

But they don't always know why it works.

So, here's the short version for those curious:

Far Infrared penetrates 6–8 cm below the skin to reach the muscles, joints, and connective tissue where pain, inflammation, and tension actually originate.

And this is all possible because Far Infrared has a 5.6–15 micron wavelength range, which is absorbed directly by human tissue and, thus, able to trigger vasodilation, increase circulation, and support the body's own repair processes.

It's a lot of science. But we wanted to share because research shows that understanding why something works makes people more consistent with their use.

So now you know. And if you don’t have a mat yet and want to experience Far Infrared, the BioMat is available.

We're the only FDA 510(k)-cleared Infrared mat on the market, which means we're the only one that had to prove our Infrared delivers.

🌿 WE HAVE SOME BIG NEWS TO SHARE! 🌿

After years of building our individual businesses and caring for this community, Keep in Touch Massage & Skin Therapy and Dwell Professional Massage Therapy are coming together to create something new…

✨ GROUNDED 222 WELLNESS SPA ✨
A Quiet Luxury

Coming to 222 N. Market St. in Paxton.

Grounded 222 is the next chapter for both of our storefront businesses—a space where we can bring together the care and services our clients already know and trust while creating an entirely new wellness experience for our community.

We’re building Grounded 222 intentionally: a place to slow down, feel cared for, and make wellness part of your life.

What does this mean for our current clients?

🤍 The practitioners you already know and trust.
🤍 The personalized care you’ve come to expect.
🤍 A beautiful new space designed around wellness and relaxation.
🤍 More services and wellness options available under one roof.
🤍 One new home for our storefront services.

And most importantly…

You’re coming with us.

If you’ve been a client of Keep in Touch Massage & Skin Therapy or Dwell Professional Massage Therapy, you’re already part of the Grounded 222 story.

Over the coming months, we’ll be sharing everything you need to know about the transition. For now, you can continue booking and visiting us just as you normally do.

📱 OUR NEXT CHAPTER HAS ITS OWN FACEBOOK HOME!

Follow the Grounded 222 Wellness Spa page to watch it all come together.

That’s where we’ll be sharing:

✨ Sneak peeks of the new space
✨ Practitioner introductions
✨ New services and wellness experiences
✨ Opening and booking information
✨ Special events
✨ Behind-the-scenes progress
✨ And plenty of surprises we haven’t shared yet!

There’s nothing you need to do differently right now—just come along for the journey.

To every person who has supported Keep in Touch or Dwell over the years: thank you for helping make this next chapter possible.

We cannot wait to welcome you to Grounded 222. 🤍
