Established in 1915 as Shaffer Memory Chapel by Oscar Shaffer, the business was renamed Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel in 1976 after passing to Gary Jensen and his son, Trey Jensen. Services include burial, cremation, funeral and memorial services, pre-need planning, incense burning, memorial diamonds and human composting through a partner provider, and ash scattering assistance. The location includes a chapel, identification and private viewings, and Spanish-speaking staff. It does not operate an on-site cemetery or crematory and does not provide pet cremation, grief therapy, or legal or estate planning services.
