What a few weeks at Samba Recovery!

It’s been a busy and rewarding few weeks filled with connection, collaboration, and a little excitement along the way.

We were honored to welcome Jimi Younis, BS, CADC-II and the RestAura Behavioral Health team for a tour of our facility and some great conversation around serving those in need of recovery and behavioral health support.

We also had the pleasure of hosting Nikki L Hogan with Amen Clinics Atlanta, as well as Tricia Meeker from Thoroughbred Wellness and Recovery/MARR Addiction Treatment Centers, continuing to strengthen partnerships that help individuals access quality care throughout Georgia.

A special thank you to Sarah Lasker of MARR Addiction Treatment Centers and Diana Grant-Rawls DNP, FNP of Southern Regional Medical Center for visiting us as well—unfortunately we forgot to grab photos, but we greatly appreciate your time and support!

Outside the office, we enjoyed a day at the Atlanta Braves game with some incredible partners and friends, including Kevin Pugh of Georgia Recovery Campus and David White of Banyan Treatment Centers. Relationships like these remind us that recovery happens through community and collaboration.

And to top it all off, we had the opportunity to represent Samba Recovery on FOX 5 Atlanta Live, sharing the importance of accessible treatment, recovery resources, and hope for those struggling with substance use disorders.

Every tour, every partnership, and every conversation helps us move closer to our mission of providing compassionate, life-changing care.

📺 FOX 5 Atlanta recently visited Samba Recovery Atlanta in Jonesboro to highlight our newly opened inpatient detox and residential treatment facility.

This feature is especially meaningful to our team because it shines a light on the growing need for safe, accessible addiction treatment in Clayton County and throughout metro Atlanta.

During the segment, Andy Williams discussed the importance of access to residential treatment, including medically supervised detox, 24/7 clinical support, and a safe, supportive environment where individuals can begin building a strong foundation for lasting recovery.

We’re thankful to FOX 5 and Maria Guzman for helping raise awareness about both our new facility and the ongoing need for treatment services in our community.

Samba Recovery Atlanta is officially expanding access to medically supervised detox and residential addiction treatment in Jonesboro, Georgia, with first admissions beginning May 18!!!

This new facility brings a much-needed residential level of care to Clayton County and the greater South Atlanta area, giving individuals and families a place to find support closer to home.

Local leaders and community members joined us for a ribbon-cutting and open house to celebrate the completion of the facility, and we are grateful for the support and partnerships that helped make this possible.

This is more than a new location. It is an investment in access, healing, and hope for a community that needs compassionate, evidence-based addiction treatment.

Grateful to have represented Samba Recovery at last week’s Alabama EAPA Conference in beautiful Orange Beach!

Thank you to the Alabama EAP Association for hosting such a meaningful event filled with connection, collaboration, and learning alongside so many dedicated professionals in the behavioral health and EAP community.

From engaging sessions and networking opportunities to the fun moments like B-I-N-G-O night and themed days, it was a great reminder of how important community is in the work we do.

We’re thankful for the opportunity to continue building relationships and strengthening partnerships that support recovery, mental health, and employee wellness across the Southeast. Special thank you to Boyd Scoggins, Judi Braswell and Brian Rogers!

We had an amazing day on Monday at the open house for our newest location, Samba Recovery Atlanta! We were overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from both the local community and the greater Atlanta recovery community. A special thank you to each of you who showed up and shared this moment with us.

We were chomping at the bit to post about the event, but we wanted to wait until we could showcase the beautiful work done by Bravery Media Solutions and their incredible ability to capture so many special moments for us. Between their work, the wonderful catering by CalosCo's Catering & Bakery, and the kind words and support from Clayton County Commissioner DeMont Davis (and our fearless leader Josh Bamberger), it truly was an event worth remembering.

The Samba staff is beyond grateful for the support, and we look forward to the day when the halls of SRA are filled with individuals getting the help they need and deserve.

Samba Recovery is excited to announce the Open House for our new Inpatient Detox and Residential facility in Jonesboro!

Please join us on April 13th from 12–4 PM for a ribbon cutting ceremony, guided tours of the new facility, networking with treatment professionals, and light appetizers and refreshments. We’re proud to continue expanding access to quality care and providing more resources for those seeking recovery in our community.

What an incredible turnout!

Events like this remind us how powerful our recovery community is when we come together with a shared mission — helping as many people as possible find freedom from the disease of addiction. Collaboration across organizations is how we expand access to care, strengthen support systems, and ultimately save lives.
