One of the best parts of owning my own practice is the flexibility to say “yes” to moments like this.

Today I took a day away from therapy to chaperone a field trip with my son. These days won’t last forever, and I’m so grateful to have built a career that allows me to be present for my family.

Two years of tiny chairs, new activities, tricky sounds, belly laughs… and watching kids realize they can do hard things.

What started as a leap of faith has grown into a business I’m so proud of. To the families who trust me with your children, the kids who work SO hard, and the teachers and colleagues who cheer us on — thank you. You are the heart of this practice.

As a speech therapist (and a mom), there is nothing better than seeing confidence grow right alongside communication.

Year 2, you were amazing. Year 3… we’re ready for you. ✨

featured a story about and her vocal cord surgery. While it was a great story with a positive outcome, they continually spoke about the “physical therapy” she is receiving. They never mentioned speech therapy or the speech-language pathologist who she is working with 😩.
