Betty “BeBe” Joan Hebert
Betty “BeBe” Hebert, 67, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026. She was born on November 12, 1958, to the late Oneita Holden and Moses Holden.
Betty was the beloved wife of 43 years to Troy Hebert, a proud mother to her sons, Joshua Hebert and his wife, Molly, and Paul Hebert and his wife, Dianna; and a cherished Mawmaw to her beloved grandchildren, Preston, Dawson, Jett, and Sadie. She also leaves behind multiple dedicated sisters; Sharron Hall (O’quin), Charlette James, Brenda Holden, Mosetta Holden, Denise “Big Twin” Deangelis (Joseph), and Jeanice “Little Twin” Kirkbride, her three grand dogs, and countless friends and loved ones whose lives were forever touched by her.
She was greeted at Heaven’s Gate by her parents Moses and Oneita Holden, and her sister Charlene Temple.
There are few words that can truly describe a woman like Betty. She was one of the most God-fearing, kind, loving, selfless, and accepting people you could ever meet. Her faith was not simply something she believed, it was something she lived every day. She found joy in unconditionally loving her grandchildren and in sharing the love of Jesus with everyone she encountered.
Betty had a heart for every living thing. She had a special gift for finding the lost, lonely, and forgotten animals that were forever wandering onto her porch and giving them a place to feel loved and safe. No creature was too small, too broken, or too unwanted to receive her kindness. She was a pastor’s wife, a listening ear, a Waffle House enthusiast, and the person who could somehow make every moment feel a little more special. She spent countless hours throughout the year preparing for the church Christmas play, pouring her time, creativity, and heart into something she loved so deeply. But above all else, Betty was a proud Mama and Mawmaw. Her family was her greatest joy, and the love she gave them will continue to live on through every generation that follows her.
Betty was everything any one of us could ever hope to be: faithful, compassionate, selfless, joyful, and endlessly loving. She made this world a better place simply by being in it. Though her absence leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, her legacy of faith, kindness, and unconditional love will never be forgotten. She loved deeply, gave freely, welcomed everyone with open arms, and pointed countless hearts toward Jesus.
Betty will be deeply missed and forever loved.
