For the next few days, 100% of the proceeds from my appointments will go toward purchasing grocery gift cards for families affected by the flooding in Crystal City and the surrounding communities.

This isn’t about recognition. It’s about neighbors helping neighbors and using what God has blessed us with to bless others. Every appointment booked helps put food on a family’s table. 🙏🏼

Karen Alvarado, the owner of The Mav Lab was so kind to open her doors and serve as a donation drop off location, and I’m incredibly grateful for her generosity and willingness to help our communities.

This has never been about who gets the credit. It’s about making sure these donations reach the people who need them most. Every person who has donated, volunteered, shared a post, said a prayer, or shown up to help has been part of something so much bigger than themselves.

Okay, I promise I’ll be done posting after this one. 🤍 I’m sorry if my posts have become annoying to some.

There really aren’t enough words to thank Crystal City and all of the surrounding communities for everything you’ve done these past few days.

Watching everyone show up for one another has been something I’ll never forget. From hot meals, cleaning supplies, and donations to people spending hours helping strangers shovel mud out of homes, you’ve reminded all of us what a community is supposed to look like.

A special thank you to everyone who has helped the families in the Chula Vista subdivision and every other family affected by these floods. I know so many people have lost so much, but seeing complete strangers step in without expecting anything in return has brought so much hope during such a heartbreaking time.

This is what small towns do. We rally together, we love our neighbors, and we carry each other through the hardest days. Thank you for every prayer, every donation, every hug, every meal, every muddy pair of boots, and every act of kindness. It has meant more than you’ll ever know.

I’m also keeping Cotulla in my prayers as they face flooding of their own. 🙏🏼 If there are families or organizations collecting supplies or needing volunteers, please let me know. We’d love to help however we can. One community lifting up another is how we’ll all get through this.

📢 DONATION DROP-OFF ANNOUNCEMENT 🤍

Thank you to everyone who has reached out wanting to help. The love and support for Crystal City has already meant so much.

If you’d like to donate to families affected by the flooding, here are the drop-off details:

🗓️ Daily starting @ 8:00 AM

We’re accepting new or gently used clothing, bottled water, nonperishable food, cleaning supplies, toiletries, buckets, mops, gloves, bleach, and heavy-duty trash bags.

I will be making multiple trips from Pearsall to Crystal City throughout the week, so every donation collected will be delivered directly to families and cleanup efforts as soon as possible.

My family was directly affected by this flooding, and I cannot thank everyone enough for stepping up to help not only them, but so many others who have lost so much.

Pearsall, I’m asking from the bottom of my heart for your help. ❤️

As many of you know, the flooding in Crystal City has devastated so many families. My family was directly affected, and watching people lose their homes, their belongings, and so many memories has been heartbreaking.

I’m asking our community to come together for a ONE-DAY donation drive to help families begin putting the pieces back together.

We’re collecting:
🤍 Clothing (new or gently used)
💧 Bottled water
🥫 Nonperishable food
🧼 Cleaning supplies
🧻 Toiletries
🪣 Buckets, mops, gloves, bleach, and heavy-duty trash bags

I’ll be posting the date, time, and drop-off location soon, but for now, please comment below if you’d be willing to donate. This will help me get an idea of how many people we can count on and better organize everything.

First CrossFit competition… done. ❤️

If I’m being honest, today wasn’t just a physical challenge. It was a mental one too.

I spent weeks doubting myself, wondering if I was ready, worrying about every workout, and questioning if I belonged out there. Then I showed up anyway. I reminded myself that courage isn’t about feeling fearless. Sometimes it’s just taking the next rep, the next step, and refusing to quit.

Today was bittersweet. While I was accomplishing something I’ve dreamed of doing, my heart never left Crystal City. It’s hard to fully celebrate when people I love and a community that means so much to me are hurting. You’ve been on my mind all day.

To my coach, thank you for believing in me even when I struggled to believe in myself. Your encouragement carried me through more than you know. And to my mom, thank you for standing by my side through every emotion today. Having you there meant everything to me.

This was about proving to myself that I can do hard things, even when my mind tells me I can’t.

First CrossFit competition ever… in the books. And I have a feeling this is only the beginning. ❤️💪🏼

I’ve cried so much today. Today has been heavy.

We’ve been told my grandparents’ house has about five feet of water inside. I keep reminding myself that they’re safe, and that’s what truly matters. That house has been home to so many of us at different points in our lives, and seeing what it’s going through is incredibly hard to process.

I’m beyond thankful my grandparents are safe, but my heart hurts for every family wondering what they’ll find when they’re finally able to go back home 🤍🙏🏼

My grandparents just had to be evacuated from the Chula Vista area. Water has reached their home. It’s hard knowing the home I come back to had to be left behind. Keeping every family, first responder, and anyone affected by the flooding in my prayers.

Hoping the water recedes soon, everyone makes it home safely, and hopefully no serious damage is caused. ❤️
