Our lab is automated, state of the art and meticulously maintained so that we can deliver the best in product and service to you. From when we pull lenses from inventory, through the generator, polishers, coating, edging and on to final fitting, your patient's prescription is handled by advanced technology equipment and highly skilled personnel. To control all this we use advanced laboratory manag

ement software that automatically watches over every job, directing automated processes, providing a real time status of each job individually and monitoring the lab as a whole.

"I thrive on the daily challenges my role at Optical Prescription Lab brings. Every day presents new opportunities to solve problems, learn, and grow, something I genuinely love about working here.

Outside of work, I’m an avid reader and a passionate builder of micro Legos (each piece is just 1/8th the size of a standard Lego brick). There’s something incredibly satisfying about the focus and precision these tiny creations demand.

My greatest personal accomplishment is simply this: no matter what life throws at me, good or bad, I’ve learned to move through it and emerge a little stronger every time. That resilience continues to shape who I am today."

We are still going strong being the last INDEPENDENT FULL SERVICE optical lab in the State of Alabama. Started in 1977 next year will be our 50th year of making lenses for you.
