Noelle had her long awaited surgery to help free her restricted median nerve in her dominant arm and hand yesterday. We are so thankful for the anesthesia team and nurses at Children's Healthcare of ATL and Dr. Peljovich at Hand Upper Extremity Center GA! She did great and is on the road to recovery. We are so encouraged by all the friends and family and our faith family praying over her, our family, and the healthcare team. It’s also humbling to experience from the patient’s perspective and the difficulty of traveling for surgeries. We are thankful for forrest frank music for encouraging us daily and in the recovery. We can be THANKFUL and that when Life gives you some lemons 🍋, our Jesus He be makin’ LEMONADE!

Sedation and Tongue-Tie: Not needed in almost all cases. Many patients travel long distances to our office since we do not sedate or use general anesthesia for tongue-tie procedures. It’s not necessary and sedation always carries a risk. It’s not rocket science! 🚀 Dad works at NASA and Mom is an architect, so they know a thing or two about function and engineering… This family was struggling with all kinds of baby symptoms from a restricted lip and tongue, and now he’s latching so much better! If you can move your tongue, you can eat better. It’s not rocket science! So glad he’s already doing better right after the procedure.

Our Japanese Visitors had a wonderful time on Monday learning more about tongue-tie treatment for their patients back home. We welcomed 5 doctors and an interpreter to the center for a day of learning and cultural exchange! Hannah and Noelle did great in the AAU Super Regional in Knoxville in the 1500m! Both PR and headed to the Junior Olympics in Iowa! Noelle, 5:28 & 3rd place, and Hannah 5:40. We also met Coach O (who is a real person!)
