Are you looking for a meaningful way to serve women and families in our community?

Sav-A-Life Shelby currently has openings for volunteer receptionists. Receptionists welcome clients, answer the phone, schedule appointments, and help create a warm, caring environment for every woman who contacts our center.

The commitment is one 3½-hour shift each week, Monday through Thursday. Training is provided—just bring a caring heart, a welcoming voice, and a desire to serve!

Recent Client series of events…

Ultrasound: heartbeat

Nurse: Do you want some pictures?

Client: No!

Nurse: Ok. I’m gonna print some just in case and lay them on my desk. If you want them before you leave you can pick them up.

Continues Ultrasound: heartbeat

Client: tears

Nurse: How are you feeling now?

Client: more tears. “I think I have had a change of heart”. Takes pictures and schedules next visit.

What a day at Women First Pregnancy Center!

Today, a young woman walked through our doors planning to travel out of state for an abortion. After receiving compassionate care, honest information, and the support she needed, she made the courageous decision to choose life for her baby.

Another client made the most important decision of her life, she placed her faith in Jesus Christ.

Two women. Two different stories. One incredible reminder of why this ministry exists.

Every day, women facing difficult and often overwhelming circumstances come to us looking for answers, hope, and support. Because of the generosity of our donors, the faithfulness of our volunteers, and the prayers of our community, they find more than information, they find hope.

Today, hope was given. . . And because hope was given, life was chosen.🙌

Thank you🙏 for helping make days like this possible. Your support is changing lives, strengthening families, and making an eternal difference.‼️
