A: The Oakwood is our assisted living community that opened in 2021. All apartments include a kitchenette, private bath, and individually controlled air temperature.

In addition to receiving personalized assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, etc., residence at The Oakwood also includes:

Nature has given us a front-row seat! 🐦🌿

Just outside the first-floor dining room at The Oakwood, a bird has built its nest right outside the window. Residents have loved checking in on our feathered neighbors throughout the day, watching the nest from the comfort of indoors without disturbing them.

Our final Otterstock Summer Music Series event is almost here, and we hope you'll join us for one last evening of great music, delicious food, and wonderful company!

We'll be welcoming The Travelin' Man Band for a live performance, The Front Porch Perfect Market food truck will be on-site serving up a variety of tasty menu items available for purchase. 🌮🎸

Bring your lawn chair, invite your friends and family, and enjoy a relaxing summer evening with us. This event is free and open to the community (food truck purchases not included), and we'd love to see you there as we wrap up another fantastic Otterstock season.

Every day, our culinary team prepares and displays the featured meal so residents can get a preview of what's being served, and today's display looked especially delicious! 🍽️✨

One of today's featured entrée was corned beef, and it didn't take long for residents to stop by and admire the plate. One resident was especially excited, saying he couldn't wait for lunchtime to arrive!
