FREE Internship & Mentoring Opportunity for DMI Practitioners!
At SMILE Therapy For Kids, we believe collaboration between practitioners can help us better understand and support each child’s individual needs.
We are offering FREE internship and mentoring opportunities for DMI practitioners who would like additional support with children on their caseload.
Refer children whose needs you would like additional support in assessing and addressing to SMILE Therapy For Kids for an intensive therapy program.
Practitioners are welcome to attend sessions alongside the family or join virtually. Throughout the intensive, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with our team and receive clinical guidance, practical recommendations, and ongoing support to help inform the child’s therapy and care moving forward.
This is an opportunity to learn, collaborate, problem-solve, and grow together—while keeping the individual needs of each child at the centre of care.

Parents around the world have witnessed meaningful changes in their children after participating in DMI Therapy.
We are not asking anyone to accept our experiences as scientific proof.
We are asking researchers to study them.
Repeated observations from families should generate research questions—not be dismissed.
We are calling for rigorous, independent, and unbiased research into DMI Therapy to better understand who may benefit, how it works, and its impact on function, independence, participation, and quality of life.
Parents are not therapists. While we support empowering families, parents should not be expected to replace the expertise of trained professionals.
We are asking for research, evidence, access, and choice.
