We are partnering with the University of Florida’s New Worlds Reading Initiative, a free program that provides eligible children Voluntary Pre-K through 5th grade with books every month. The New Worlds Reading Initiative is transforming literacy across Florida by delivering free books and engaging activities directly to students from Voluntary Pre-K through 5th grade who are striving to read. This program is sparking a lifelong love of learning, empowering young readers with high-quality books tailored to their interests. Here is a link to get more information and to enroll.

Flu may seem simple and beatable with a healthy immune system but there are times when your immune system is overwhelmed and you end up with something more serious. Don’t hesitate, vaccinate!

Every year, flu season can have significant consequences for public health, individual lives, and the economy.

A new study from Global Healthy Living Foundation takes a closer look at data from 2023-24 and its impact. The findings show the flu cost the U.S. economy nearly $29 billion and contributed to more than 27,000 adult deaths.

The study also evaluated the role that vaccinations played in these numbers — finding that increased vaccination rates could save billions of dollars and thousands of lives.

Don’t hesitate, vaccinate

When people question vaccination because it's "not natural"...

Let me tell you, there's nothing natural about whooping cough bacteria invading a tiny, defenceless body.

Nothing natural about watching your baby’s face turn blue as they gasp for air, or the mechanical hum of an ECMO machine keeping them alive.

Nothing natural about a newborn being poked with needles and tubes in an intensive care unit, and there is certainly nothing natural about burying your child before they have even had the chance to smile.

You know what IS natural?

Protecting your baby!

A parents love for their child is the most natural thing in the world, and because we love them, most of us choose to protect them💙

Why we don't agree with the new CDC guidelines. This is medicine and politics should not be involved. Physicians and healthcare workers should be the ones calling the shots, not politicians.

The Trump administration just yanked the recommendation for a vaccine that can spare people from what I went through.
